How
is children's yoga taught?
With
themes, music, songs, partner/group work, age appropriate
props and yoga games so children can experience yoga while
learning, playing and laughing.
Each
class combines yoga poses, breathing techniques and relaxation
practices.

Yoga
for Children 3-5 years
Yoga
poses and creative movement are combined with themed classes,
songs, music and play. The classes are animated and playful
and are designed to develop co-ordination, motor skills and
confidence.

Yoga
for Children 5-7 years (school age 5)
Stories,
themes, music and co-operative yoga games are included in
these fun and creative classes. Children are developing body
awareness, self esteem, flexibility and strength.

Yoga
for Children 8-12 years
As
the children's minds and bodies are maturing these fun classes
combine traditional yoga, flowing sequences, partner and group
poses. The children develop a greater sense of body awareness,
focus and attention.
